SALE OF SECTIONS.
At the Criterion Theatre, Paeroa, on Wednesday afternoon portions of the famous Turua estate, divided into'small farms, were offered for sale by the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company. Only two of the sections were disposed of at the auction sale, but several others were sold afterwards privately. The total area disposed of was
1009 acres, the price ranging from £10 ios per acre up to per acre. The sections disposed of, with the names of tne purchasers, are as follows : —Mr Thomas McLaughhn, of Matatoke, sec-
tion 30, 40 acres at £14 15s per acre; Mr G. Booth, of Cambridge, sections 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, and 66, totalling 575 acres, at ios per acre; Mr dally, section 6y t 44 acres at per acre ; Mr Jos. Tetley, sections 48 and 50, 158 acres at £14 per acre ; Mr Tipping, of Morrinsville, sections 70 and 71, no acres at ,£lB per acre ; Mr Dingate, of Thames, sections 82 and 84, 82 acres at ,£l3 per acre.
