AUCKLAND EXHIBITION.

I Auckland, May 9,

It has been definitely decided to hold an international exhibition at Auckland in 1912. A committee appointed by the Chamber of Commerce has declared in favour of the proposal. Mr B. Kent, who agreed to accept the position of president, states that the Auckland Exhibition of 1898 was a splendid success. Though it would be necessary to obtain guarantors of at least ,£IO,OOO for the forthcoming 1 exhibition no difficulty was anticipated on this score. He acided : " No doubt the Government would treat the promoters liberally as they did in assisting the 1898 exhibition."
