MEDAL FOR CARNEGIE.

Washington, May 5
Andrew Carnegie has received a " Hero " medal, in commemoration of his establishment in several countries of funds to provide for the dependents of heroes who have died in attempting to' save the lives of others.
The medal is the first presented to an individual by a group of nations.
