A second hand perambulator is advertised for sale.
Mrs May, who has recently taken up her residence in Paeroa, announces that she is prepared to undertake the ironing and glazing of gentlemen's shuts and collars, and makes a specialty of ironing pillow slips and curtains and similar work. As Mrs May has had considerable experience in the business, patrons can rely on obtaining work of the very best quality.
The Ohinemuri County Council at its meeting yesterday afternoon, confirmed the special order dividing the County into six ridings, namely, Waitekaun, Waikino, Waitoa, Paeroa, Nethertpn and Karangahake. There will be three representatives for Karangahake, two for Paeroa, and one ioreach of the other ridings. The motion confirming the special order was moved by Mr Grace (chairman) and seconded by Mr Strange, and was carried without discussion, Mr Nathan making a formal protest against the making of the order.
