DEATH FROM BURNS.

HAURAKI PLAINS FATALITY

A child z\ years old, daughter ot Mr Horace Stone, of the Hauraki Plains, met with an accident on Tuesday that resulted in her death at the Thames Hospital.

The child was sitting on a chair near the fire, when by some means or other her clothes became ignited. She rushed outside where assistance was available, but the injuries received were ot a serious nature. The little sufferer was taken to the Thames Hospital for treatment but she succumbed to her injuries and shock.
