On Saturday last on the Kaiangahake range the No. 1 Coy. O.R.V. fired the first stage for Mr McCombie's

Lieutenant LittleJohn was top scorer with 40 at 700 yards, and 45 at 200 yards, total 85. Private Hyde being close up second, and Sergeant Redpath third. The second competition will take place next Saturday, the ranges being 500 and 700 yards.
