ARRIVED OVERDUE.
TONGARIRp REINSURED.

London, April 21
The s.s. Tongariro, which left Wellington for London on March 9, and Monte Video on March 30, and which should have arrived at Teneriffe on Monday last, arrived to-day.
The delay was due to slight defects to the boilers.
A fair amount of reinsurance was effected prior to arrival at from 2 to 7
per cent, closing at 6 per cent.
