It was decided to set apart the proceeds from one afternoon's matches to assist the South Auckland Rugby Union, this step being taken by nearly all the unions affiliated, directly or indirectly, with .the South Auckland Union.
At the last meeting of the Goldfields Rugby Union, on the motion of Karangahake delegates, it was decided that sub-unions should confer with a view of adopting some scheme to assist funds of South Auckland Union.
