SOCIAL SERVICE

TUBERCULOSIS COMMITTEE A meeting of the Sanatorium Service sub-committee of the TubercuJ°s is Social Service Committee was held in the 9ffice of the Patients’ and Prisoners Aid Society, Mr A. Steven ™ on X, ene , presiding. At his request Mr Gordon Russell, chairman of the Tuberculosis Social Service Committee, made a brief statement of the progress that had been made in forming the various sub-committees and he said that before the close of the year all these sub-committees would have met in preparation to launching out in the work to which they had set themselves.

Mr. Steven outlined what had been done in the past in the way of service to the patients and suggested ways in which the work might be extended and concluded with an appeal for co-operation in assisting the medical profession in this allimportant work.
