STOCK PRICES LOWER Special to the Daily Times OAMARU, Dee. 9. Prices for fat cattle decreased 10s to £1 on those of last week. There was a medium yarding of fat cattle, a small yarding of store cattle and a large yarding of fat sheep. Wethers were 6s to 3s a head down, except prime, which were 3s to 4s down. Best ewes were firm on late rates, while medium were Is to Is 6d cheaper. There was a good demand for all classes of store sheep. Quotations. —Prime bullocks made £22 10s to £24 15s; prime medium, £2O to £22; medium, £lB to £l9 10s; light, £l4. to £l6; prime heifers, £l6 to £18; prime medium, £l4 to £ls 10s; light, £l2 to £l3 ss. Cows, prime made £ll to £l3 ss; medium, £9 10s to £lO 15s; light, £6 to £8 10s a pen. A pen of 18 months store heifers made £B, a pen of yearling heifers £5 7s 6d.

Prime fat wethers \made from 61s to 635; prime, 57s to 60s; medium, 52s to 55s 6d; light, 44s 6d to 48s; light and unfinished, 38s to 41s fid; prime maiden ewes, 48s 6d to 51s; medium, 45s to 475; light,.4os to 435; prime young ewes, 33s to 375; medium, 28s to 32s 6d; light, 23s to 275. Fat hoggets made from 41s to 465; prime lambs, 37s to 475. A pen of two-tooth three-quarteibred store wethers made 33s 9d, a pen of two-tooth Corriedale wethers 28s; a pen of f.m. wethers 22s 9d and a pen of Corriedale ewe hoggets 27s 6d.
