OPOSSUM SKIN SALE
STEADY DEMAND A supplementary sale of opossum skins was held yesterday, when a total of over 10,000 skins were offered to the usual attendance of buyers. Although the bulk of the offering comprised late caught skins, there were some good parcels forward from various North Island districts and parts of Southland. Smalls, damaged, inferior, rough and badly stretched skins met limited competition and again sold at low rates.
