TRAVEL CLUB

Over 300 persons attended the Dunedin Travel Club’s Christmas party which was held in the Concert Chamber last night. The hall was decorated by Mrs W. H. Tucker and her assistants, and the programme was organised by Mrs H. T. Speight A play, ” The Rose and the Crown,” produced by Miss Bessie Thomson, was presented, and those taking part were Misses Betty Dillon, Dawn McAra, Margaret Upton, and Messrs D. Hobbs, J. Weipers, K. Howden, and G. Ritchie. Other items were violin solos by Mr Ritchie Hanna, accompanied by Miss Eunice Steadman, and songs by Miss Bertha Rawlinson and Mr Arthur Robertson. The evening concluded with supper and dancing.
