Ban Possible On Interisland Travel by Children

P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec, 8. A ban on travel by children under 16 between the North and South Islands as from next Saturday is now being considered by the Health Department, The Minister of Health, Miss Howard, who announced this this evening, said that a final decision would be made on Wednesday, when she would hold a conference in Wellington with officers of the Health Department. She was making the announcement so that people who were away from their homes would be able to make arrangements for returning.
