P.A. AUCKLAND, Dec.- 7.' The Town v. Country cricket match concluded yesterday. Owing to rain, there was only 20 minutes of play on Friday. The overhead conditions were ideal yesterday. The wicket was soft and easy. Country made 175 for three wickets, declared (Rabone 21, Wyatt 55, Everest 53, B. Childs 25 not out, Petrie 10 not out; lies two for 51, Clear one for 30). Town replied with 147 for two wickets (Pearson 27, Scott 48 not out, Taylor 61 n.ot out; Dunning one for 33. Lissette one for 16). Scott took 75 minutes to make 10, all singles. Later he hit out, and scored two 6’s and three 4’s. Taylor made his 61 in 52 minutes It included 10 4’s and a 6. • ’
