DOMINION SCRIPT WRITER IN BRITAIN N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent LONDON, Dec. 5. When the New Zealander, Ted Kavanagh, script writer of the Itma radio programme, was presented to the King and Queen at a special, studio performance given for the Royal Family, his Majesty recalled a special visit paid to Windsor Castle by the Itma company.in 1942, and said a record of the performance made on that occasion and presented to the Royal Family was almost worn out. When the studio orchestra played “ Under the Chestnut Tree,” which Itma used regularly in its earlier broadcasts, the King smiled broadly and the Queen made the gestures which accompany the song.
