ODDS ON JOE LOUIS IN TITLE BOUT

NEW YORK, Dec. 4. Most bookmakers to-day were offering odds of 10 to 1 that Joe Louis will make his twenty-fourth successful defence of his title tormorrow night in his contest with Jersey Joe Walcott. Indicative of Louis's confidence m himself is the fact t.hal he has signed a contract to sail for England on February 19 for a series of exhibitions in London. The trip would be cancelled if he lost his title. Though Walcott is given practically no chance of victory everyone in boxing is hoping that he will provide enough competition for a few rounds to prevent the fight being a 30,000dollar fiasco.
