PHOSPHATES FROM NAURU

P.A. WELLINGTON, Dec. 5. Federated Farmers has received advice from Sir Albert Ellis, the New Zealand member of the British Phosphate Commission, that in about two years’ time shipments of phosphates from Nauru Island are expected to be approximately at the pre-war rate. Nauru’s installations were devastated by the Japanese during the war.
