BOUND FOR SYDNEY

WELLINGTON TUG TERAWHITI P.A. WELLINGTON, Dec. 5. Well known in Wellington Harbour for many years, the tug Terawhiti, which was sold recently by the Union Steam Ship Company to buyers in Australia, sailed for Sydney to-day Her new owners, Howard Smith, Ltd., of Sydney, bought the Terawhiti for use as a tug in Melbourne. A representative of the purchasers said to-night that he did not know whether -the name of the ship would be changed. The Terawhiti was built in the Leith yards of Ramage and Ferguson, Ltd., 40 years ago.
