A complete examination of the shipment of pineapples brought to Auckland from Suva by the Union Company’s motor ship Komata lias revealed that about 1000 of the 1800 cases are unsaleable. The consignment has been inspected by members of the Health, Agriculture, and Internal Marketing Departments.
