NOVEMBER SUNSHINE
The figures recorded by Mr D. S. Bain during November show that there were 173 hours 30 minutes of sunshine, compared with 215 hours in November, 1946. and an average of 185 hours. The dailyaverage was 5 hours 47 minutes, and during the first half of the month 104 hours 30 minutes were recorded, with 69 hours in the second half of the month. There were 10 days with eight hours or more, including days of 9, 10, 12, 13 hours and more. The best day was November 1 with 13 hours 15 minutes of sunshine. There were three days without sunshine.
