N.G. Sis. M. Burgess presided at the monthly meeting of the Rose of Oamaru Lodge. After the business, members of Manchester Unity lodges were entertained. Sis. Burgess welcomed the visitors and the evening was spent in competitions, dancing and items. Items presented were; Sis. M. Burgess, song; play reading, “Is Marriage a Failure? ” Sis. Vera Patterson was the pianist for the evening.
