FIRST CRICKET TEST AT BRISBANE NO FURTHER WICKETS LOST Rec. 11 p.m. BRISBANE. Dec. 2. . Overnight rain resulted in a soft wicket again for the first test between India and Australia at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, with the result that plav did not start until 3.30 p.m. Bad light stopped the game after 62 minutes’, followed by showers which stopped play for to-day. There were only 63 minutes’ play in India’s second innings yesterday and 62 to-day. Sarwate and Hazare, in their unbroken partnership yesterday, were unconquered to-day. The wicket was soft, slow, and not helpful. The Indians took no chances, scoring 29 runs. Scores: —
