Fortnightly Meeting
Mr C. Zimmermann presided at the fortnightly meeting of the North Otago Cricket Association on Monday night. The Canterbury Cricket Associaiton advised that a colts team would be on tour in January and it was decided to accept a game to be played about the middle of the month. It was decided that the next competition games on December 6 be one-day matches, beginning at 10 a.m. It was also decided that no senior or junior competition games be played on January 13 because of the representative game at Invercargill, but that a junior representative game against Waitaki Sub-association be played at Waitaki Boys’ High School, beginning at 10 a.m.
Draw for Saturday Seniors, one-day matches beginning at 10 a.m.: Waitaki v. Oamaru B, Waitaki No. 1 ground; Kurow v. Union, Waitaki No. 4 ground; Oamaru A v. Albion, Waitaki No. 2 ground.
Juniors, beginning at 1.30 p.m.; St. Kevin’s v. Waitaki B, St. Kevin’s; Waitaki A v. Oamaru, Waitaki No. 3 ground; Albion v. Union,' Waitaki No. 5 ground. Third Grade, beginning at 1.30 p.m.: St. Kevin’s A v. Waitaki B, St. Kevin’s; St. Kevin’s B v. Waitaki A, Milner Park No. 2; Railway v. Union, King George’s Park; Waitaki C, a bye.
