DUNEDIN REGATTA CLUB

At the Dunedin Regatta Club’s annual meeting, the president, Mr J. Werges, thanked the committee and all members for their support during the year, and trusted that the same support would be

given for the centennial year, when the club hoped to stage a more ambitious programme. , Mr H. E. Lyon said that even after increasing the regatta prize money from £55 to £7O, and with higher regatta expenses, the finances of the club had improved.

The election of office-bearers resulted:— President, Mr J. Werges; past president, Mr T. O’Shea; vice : presldent, Mr W. Glengarry; secretary, Mr K. Barclay; treasurer, Mr H. Lyon; committee —Messrs C. Brown, M. Butterfield, R. Baird, G. McDowell, W. Robinson and Dr W. E. Adams; auditor, Mr S. G. Styche.
