Blakely being the highest individual scorer with 170 not out. Blackburn, of Naseby, scored 108 before retiring, and McSkimming, of Patearoa, made 93. J. P. Mulholland, of Ranfurly, secured the “ hat trick" when bowling against Patearoa. Oturehua 155 (Hampton. 81 not out, Loft 27; Lobb six for 26), Naseby seven for 229 (Blackburn 108 retired, McKenzie 70 retired: Loft five for 80). Becks six for 178 (G. Sweeney 33, Vugler 48, J. Clouson 57 retired; Patterson four for 37) beat Hyde 152 (Tod 64; Vugler three for 42, Jones six for 49). Patearoa A nine for 254, declared (J. W. Blakely 170 not out; Mulholland five for 110) drew with Ranfurly A seven for 122 (Mulholland 53, J. C. Kearney 24; McAtamney three for 14). Patearoa B five for 247 (McSkimming 93, Herlihy 63) defeated * Ranfurly B 114 (Arbuckle 78 not out; J. H. Mathias five for 23). INJURED AT TENNIS While playing for Ranfurly against Kokonga, Miss P. Kearney, of Ranfurly, fractured a bone in her foot. After being X-rayed, she was discharged from the Ranfurly Hospital.
