WIN FOR DESERT LAD SPRINT TO CERTAINTY P.A. WELLINGTON, Nov. 30. The Wellington Trotting Club’s spring meeting was concluded at Hutt Park yesterday before a large crowd. The going was good until the fourth race, when rain set in and made the track surface a little greasy. The feature of the day was the double success of Queen Jewel, her win in the Randwick Handicap returning over half a century on the win machine.
