Later it was reported that he was all right after cooling off, Grey Nurse Speedy A cable message from Sydney states that the former New Zealand filly Grey Nurse revealed that she is in top class by winning the Two-year-old Stakes at Randwick with ease. Settling down in seventh place, she ran to the front at the Leger, taking the long way round. The owner, Mr F. W. Hughes, predicted that next spring she would equal the performances of the other former New Zealander, Nizam’s Ring, this spring.
