TROTTING CLUB
Meeting of Executive Mr J. E. Farrell presided at a meeting of the Oamaru Trotting Club on Thursday night. The application of the North Otago Motor Cycle Club for the use of the racecourse was declined. It was decided to advise the Timaru Racing Club that as Mr Sterling* was still in Australia there appeared little use in holding a meeting to discuss the question of electric totalisators * It was decided to write to Ihe Oamaru Jockey Club about the south car park and the filling-in of the lagoon.
