NEW EXCHANGE RATES
ITALIAN LIRA DEVALUED, Rec. 8 p.m ROME, Nov. 27. The Italian Government devalued the lira to-day for the fourth time since the end of the war. The accompanying regulations set new rates of exchange for United States dollars, sterling and the Swiss franc equal to, or higher than, free market quotations. The new rates are 1961.3 to £1 sterling, 589.47 to the dollar, and 149.32 to the Swiss franc. The new official rate w'ill in future be fixed on the first day of each month and based on the average supply and demand prices on the Milan and Rome exchanges
