FOUR SURVIVORS

CLARKSDALE VICTORY WRECK Rec. 8 p.m. SEATTLE, Nov. 27. The Coastguard reported that four men had been found alive on the Clarksdale Victory. They were three mates and one seaman and| all were suffering from exposure. The Coastguard search party was able to get cn the transport’s bow for the first time this morning as the heavy seas subsided. The search will be extended from Hippa Island to Graham Island which is east of Hippa Island. The second mate, Henry Wolfe, told the Coastguard that no lifeboats got away from the ship after it hit the rocks except the one previously found on the beach. Wolfe thought the stern sank in deep water with all on board.
