LISTENING WATCH

OFFICIAL MESSAGES FROM BERLIN Rec. 10 p.m. LONDON. Nov. 27. The Berlin correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says that British and United States authorities believe that messages sent recently by cable and telephone to London have been intercepted by the Russians. Cable and telephone lines out of Berlin pass through 120 miles of the Russian zone. There has been evidence for some time that the Russians have been listening to all official communications between Berlin, London, and Washington, but it is not thought that they 'have obtained much information of value. Messages and information of the highest importance are sent by air courier to London.
