“MERE FORMALITY”

FEDERATION WITH BULGARIA OBJECT OF MARSHAL TITO’S VISIT N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent Rec. 9 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 27. A message from Belgrade says that Marshal Tito and three of his Cabinet Ministers and two Yugoslav generals arrived in Sofia on a visit which is officially described as of “great significance.” Speaking to a crowd from the balcony of the Bulgarian Parliament Buildings, Marshal Tito said that the object of his visit was to establish such close co-operation between Yugoslavia and Bulgaria “ that the question of federation would be a mere formality.” . • Last July Bulgaria and Yugoslavia signed a mutual aid agreement including measures for extensive economic collaboration.
