VACANCIES FILLED
WAIKOUAITI BOROUGH Nominations for vacancies in the Waikouaiti Borough Council which were not filled at the local body elections, closed yesterday Only one nomination, that of Abraham Yueddle Park, was received for the mayoralty, and he was declared elected. Two nominations for councillors were required, and this number was received. The new councillors will be Ernest James Cardno and Frank Robert Giles.
