THE A. AND P. SHOW
cs r At the Otago A. and P. Show on November 25 I was astounded atthe placines of the first three horses in the Ladies Hunting Competition. The competitors were told to go at a nice hunting pace. The first horse jumped well but was far too fast, and the rider had no control over him. The second horse went like a steeplechaser. The third horse trotted round the top of the ring. that what the ( judge calls ” hunting pa^-I^am. [When this letter was referred to the judge, Mr M. F. Maze, of Pleasant Point he stated that he had no comment to make Will correspondents note that we are reluctant to open our controversy on show judgings? Ea. O.p.TJ .
