Steer at Large In City Streets
Breaking out of the enclosure and escaping through the crowd, a Hereford steer which had been —apparently—an unwilling participator in the steer-riding contests at the Otago A. and P. Society’s show at Tahuna Park last night, was still at large at a late hour. The animal made its way across the Otago Hunt Club’s property to the Tomahawk road, and was subsequently reported at S 6; Clair., then In Allandale road, and finally in the neighbourhood of a south end hotel.
