RESTRICTIONS RELAXED

WAR PRISONERS IN BRITAIN OVERNIGHT CHRISTMAS LEAVE Rec. 9 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 26. Restrictions on German war prisoners in Britain are to be relaxed at Christmas enabling them to spend two days and two nights away from their camps or hostels with anyone who invites them. The five mile travel limit will also be extended to 100 miles. Their hosts will be responsible for the prisoners’ behaviour and return to camp. This is the first time German prisoners have been allowed to stay out overnight.
