ELECTRICIAN KILLED

.P.A. INVERCARGILL, Nov. 26. The electrician to the Bluff Harbour Board, Norman George Heyder, aged 47, married, who was admitted to the Southland Hospital yesterday, died today. While rigging an electric grinder for work on the tug’s engines, Heyder suffered a severe shock. One of the board’s employees promptly disconnected the flexible lead to the grinder, but Heyder, who was near the top of the engine room ladder, fell to the footplates and suffered serious head injuries. Heyder, who was born at Rakaia, was appointed electrician to the Bluff Harbour Board in 1932. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
