COMMUNISTS IN DOMINION
GOVERNMENT VIEW SOUGHT Parliamentary Reporter WELLINGTON, Nov. 25. Was it intended to introduce legislation to make it unlawful for members of the Communist Party to remain in New Zealand, asked Mr R. G. Gerard (Oppn., A,hburton) in notice of a question to the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, in the House of Representatives to-day. In a note to his ques-’ tiori, he said it wa s reported that the -Minister of - Rehabilitation had stated that every member of the Labour ■ Party would back him up 100 per i 'cent, when The said members of the ' Communist Party should not be al-l-lowed to remaim in New;Zealand.
