EXTREME CAUTION URGED AMERICAN INFLATIONARY TENDENCY Rec, 11 p.m. WASHINGTON, Nov. 25. The board of governors of the Federal reserve system, comptroller of the currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, issued a joint statement warning bankers to use extreme caution in tlieir lending, policies. The United States was in a boom of dangerous height and the rapid expansion of bank credit was an inflationary factor. The statement warned also against instalment buying, and urged the confinement of bank credit to production loans.
