Jews Enlisted For Military Service
Rec. 11 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 25. Tens of thousands of young Palestine Jews were being enlisted for military service, Mrs Golda Myerson, the Jewish Agency’s political chief, said in Jerusalem yesterday. “We are preparing to defend our State if necessary.” Reuter’s Jerusalem correspondent says: “A mobilisation fund,” which aims at raising £500,000 by December 31, was officially launched at the week-end.
