SAFE IN SINGAPORE
LEADER OF “FREE THAI” MOVEMENT Rec. 9 p.m. SINGAPORE, Nov. 24.
A spokesman for Lord Killearn confirmed that Pridi Panomyong, war-time leader of the “ Free Thai ” movement, arrived in Singapore safely by sea After the coup by Marshal Pibul a fortnight ago, Pridi took refuge with the Siamese Navy until he engineered an escape from Siam last week. Pridi was accompanied by three other Siamese, none of whom apparently had any political connection with him.
