LADY BEVERIDGE
Likely Visit to Dunedin
It is now expected that Lady Beveridge will acompany her distinguished husband, Lord Beveridge, who will visit Dunedin early next year as the guest of the University of Otago. Lord Beveridge, author of Britain’s Social Security Plan, will be the first de Carle lecturer, and will give addresses in Dunedin as part of the University’s contribution to the Centennial celebrations. Lord and Lady Beveridge will travel by sea, and are expected to arrive before the end of April.
