DOMINION BOXER OUTCLASSED IN SYDNEY
Rec. 0.15 a.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 24. The Australian middle and light-heavy-weight champion, Dave Sands (11.91), beat the former New Zealander, George Allen (11.9.1), on a technical knock-out in the ninth round of a scheduled 12-round bout to-night. Allen took heavy punishment in the ninth round and the referee stopped the fight. Sands was always ahead on points.
