NEW SHADE OF LIPSTICK Special to the Daily Times

LONDON, Nov. lfi

Mrs Crawford, a member of the oldest and most distingu shed British cosmetic house, which celebrated its fiftieth anniversary this year, has had the honour of being called to Buckingham Palace to advise and treat the Princess on the occasion of her wedding. The Princess will have to pose for photographs and moving picture cameras, but does not wish for her make-up to be in any way extravagant as she likes to appear as natural as she is in manner.

On the wedding morning the Princess will apply milk of roses and peach day lotion and pale peach face powder It is doubtful if she will elect to use any rouge; but if she does it will be English rose shade. She has natural thick, curly eyelashes so only the lightest touch of mascara will be necessary. A completely new and lovely shade of lipstick named Ealmoral in honour of the occasion has beerl produced. Mrs Crawford said that what struck her most forcibly was how naturally and charmingly interested the Princess was in her marriage. She was as excited and as pleased as any normal girl. She is essentially an English type. and.a firm believer, like many woman, in the use of soap and water on the face as the first principle of a healthy skin.
