NURSES’ ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting of the Registered Nurses’ Association was held in the Somerset Lounge. Miss Fitzgibbon, the president, welcomed visitors as well as members, and moved the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet. . Miss Fitzgibbons’s term of office being over, Miss Boyd was elected president. Mrs Tannock presented Miss Fitzgibbon with a bouquet of pansies . with good wishes from the association. Miss Bridges, of the Nurses’ Post-grad-uate School in Wellington, spoke on the proposed revision of the training of nurses in England. The Hospital Nurses’ Choir gave two items, and Nurses Proctor and Y Scott entertained with songs.
