TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT

NEW TYPE FOR DOMINION SERVICE

PA WELLINGTON, Nov. 20. Another of Britain's post-war aircraft a de Havilland Dove, will be fiving in New Zealand early next year. It is a 10-seater light transport machine with a cruising speed of 165 to 185 miles an hour and a top speed of 210 miles an hour. Mr J. A. Keir. general manager of de Havilland s New Zealand Company, announced aircraft will be shipped to New Zealand, and Mr Kerr said he hoped it would remain in service in the Dominion, as though it is smaller than the types flown on the main internal services, it should be eminently suitable on lesser runs.
