FIRE AT HERMITAGE
MOTOR SUPPLIES DESTROYED P.A. TIMARU, Nov. 19. Petrol, oil, tyres and an air compressor were destroyed when fire practically razed the garage at the Hermitage. The building was leased by the Government and the Mount Cook and Southern Lakes Tourist Company, Ltd. Four buses parked in the garage were removed before the fire reached them.
