COMMUNITY SING

The last Friday community sing will be held in the Strand Theatre to-mor-row ’ Special music commemorating tne wedding of Princess .Elizabeth will be on the programme. The Ravensbourne League of Mothers Choir (Mrs Newey, conductor) will sing " The Lord is My Shepherd" and “ Praise My Soul the King of Heaven," whiefi is the music chosen by’Princess Elizabeth, also a partsong, “ Princess Elizabeth of crngland. composed in her honour. Proceeds are for the Lepers’ Mission, Fauaba Hospnal, Solomon Islands, and new nurses’ home staffed by New Zealand nurses. Donations can be sent to Mr J. F. Himburg, care Charles Begg and Co. Mi H. P Desmoulins will be the leader, with Mr A H. Pettitt at the piano. Flowers, produce, etc., are acceptable for the stall.
