Sir,—l wholeheartedly agree with ” Plain Jane ” in her outlook of good, common sense regarding the changing fashions. New Zealanders serving overseas gave the impression that the people ot this country dress smartly, which- is more than I can say for the person wearing the styles published in the Daily Times recently.

Why not let New Zealanders stand out in the world of plain sheep, and choose the sensible way of dressing; that is. the present-day costume.—l am, etc., Black Sheep.
