RELIEF NEEDS

INVESTIGATION BY MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT P.A. WELLINGTON. Nov. 18. The Leader of the Opposition, Mr Holland, and the Minister of Labour, Mr McLagan, both of whom are Christchurch members, will leave by special plane to-morrow morning for Christchurch to see what assistance can be given and to gather details of the disaster. When they return they will report to the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, and make any recommendations on what relief measures the Government can give. All the Christchurch members of Parliament will be. going south to attend the funeral of the victims.
